Tim McGraw Wears Caitlin Clark's Jersey during Iowa Concert for March Madness.

Tim McGraw remembered an Iowan legend during a recent tour stop.

McGraw played Friday at the Wells Fargo arena in Des Moines, Iowa, as part of his Standing Room Only Tour. He wore a number.

22 University of Iowa basketball jersey to commemorate record-breaker Caitlin Clark for the show.

The 56-year-old posted a performance shot on X (previously Twitter) and wrote, "Represented in Iowa! Big year for @CaitlinClark22 and @IowaWBB."

McGraw wore pants and a cowboy hat with the black jersey.

Clark and Iowa are playing in March Madness, the NCAA women's basketball championship. The Hawkeyes defeated Holy Cross 91-65 on Saturday in the opening round. Clark, 22, scored 27.

In the Hawkeyes' game against Michigan last month, Clark became the NCAA women's basketball all-time top scorer. In March, she became the NCAA Division I all-time best scorer in men's and women's basketball. Clark had to beat "Pistol" Pete Maravich of Louisiana State University (LSU). In 1988, Maravich died.

The talented athlete can play one more season for Iowa, but she will declare for the April 15 2024 WNBA draft.
