Joe Burrow Will Have Some Big Dudes Protecting Him Up Front

The Cincinnati Bengals appear to be putting up a wall in front of Joe Burrow.

Following another injury-plagued season for their franchise quarterback, the Bengals have signed offensive lineman Trent Brown, who will team up with Orlando Brown Jr. to form one of the league's most formidable bookend duos.

The Brown Brothers (no connection) are 6-foot-8 and weigh 715 pounds. Orlando is 6'8" and 345 lbs, while Trent is 6'8" and 370 lbs.

Cincinnati signed the former Patriot to a one-year contract on Tuesday. Brown told reporters that the team's culture played a significant influence in his decision to sign.

"That was a huge thing right there," Brown stated. "Just being where we came from, when folks would leave for a break whenever they could... I'll be able to enjoy coming to work on a daily basis, which was very crucial when we discussed fit.

Brown's best seasons came in New England, but near the end of his second stay, the 30-year-old expressed his unhappiness with the powers that be.

Brown was drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with them before moving on to the Patriots and Raiders

He won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2018 and then appeared in the Pro Bowl the following year.
