Chase Young reacts to injury concern

Chase Young appeared ready to become one of the league's most dominating pass rushers during his first year with Washington,

after being picked with the No. 2 overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He won the NFL Defensive first of the Year Award in his first season. However, since then, injuries have hampered his career.

Chase Young has faced with some injury setbacks since his spectacular rookie season, keeping him off the field and preventing him from reaching his full potential.

Despite the fact that he admits that injuries "hundred" his development, he believes he still has time to reach his full potential as a player.

"Really not excited to prove anything to anybody," Young told the New Orleans Saints club website. "I'm just going to go out there and be the best Chase Young I can be."

"Injuries did hamper a few things, but everything is well. It's all about the process and the journey. I understand what I can do. I am a man of God, and He is still giving me opportunity to prove it. So, I am here."

Young signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints this week. We'll have to watch how he does this season.
